Within UNCACED, Partnering Relations are an issue addressed at 2 levels:
Globally, Partners can work with UNCACED through the GEA4A Alliance or through Fund Africa or via any other UNCACED Program for which a partnership memorandum has been agreed between parties. However, in accordance with the Statutes of the DRC as revised and updated by the UNCACED Constitutive Charters, the GEA44 Members are otherwise referred to as "Partner Members", and may be FINANCIAL Partners or TECHNICAL Partners.
TECHNICAL Partners can work with UNCACED in two ways: either as part of the POLICY Partnership or as part of an IMPLEMENTING Partnership. Some organizations can be both Financial, technical or implementing Partners (all depending on the agreed partnership context over given times). For any Africa-oriented partnership, no foreign technical or implementing partner can benefit from UNCACED Funds or Support without first going through GEA4A membership.
On African Level, UNCACED Member Entities are of Great Privilege – the primary beneficiaries and implementing partners of the UNCACED’s Policies, Funds and Programs on the field, except for programs of special attention, requiring direct implementation by one of the UNCACED Specialized Institutions. Thus, except in cases of humanitarian imperative, African countries, communities and organizations can only benefit from UNCACED Funds and Programs when they are beforehand members. In the event of humanitarian imperative, through its specialized agencies, non-member African communities and organizations can under very rigorous criteria, benefit from some level of the UNCACED funds and programs. African Communities and organizations can as well become UNCACED’s independent financial partners but never will be so more encouraged when it’s about UNCACED to ship its support to them.
